Why?

So your looking for an Entertainer?

There are lot's of reasons why you may wish to book an entertainer, maybe it's a family celebration, Christening, your child's birthday or perhaps a School, Church group, holiday club or even a Holiday park.

PJ the Showman started his career as a Redcoat, back in the 90's. He still travels around some of the busiest UK Holiday Parks performing his mad-cap mayhem show as well as entertaining at Kids birthday parties, School, Carnivals and festivals.

There is so much choice when it comes the subject of Children's Birthday Parties. The indoor play centres have now got mass competition themselves, including Trampoline Parks, Indoor Bouncy arena's, Bowling complex's, Swimming Pool parties, the list is endless but the winner will always be your very own Private Party with an entertainer. Why? Well read on.....

Here are a few reason's WHY you should book a professional performer:

  • They are exclusive to you
  • They have an exciting and engaging act
  • They create amazing memories
  • They give you the Parent/Gaurdian the chance to enjoy the event too.
  • Reliability
  • You will probably pay more, but you should "taste the difference" (other suprmarket slogans are available).

Here are a few tips along the way, when booking your Childrens Entertainer:

  • Does the entertainer have real reviews? Yes, you read that right. If your reading a review on google for example, see what else that person has reviewed. You can then spot the pattern in reviews if you know what I mean.
  • Most professional performers are not cheap, although there is a market for that middle aged DJ/Entertainer (entertainer = loosly put) shouting "Everybody Scream" every ten minutes down a microphone, hardly entertaing don't you think? Check out the entertainers Showreels or any Social media video's. YouTube is a great platform that most entertainers may use. If the entertainer is full-time, there is a better chance you'll get value for money, another reason why you should consider booking a professional.
  • The fee. Do you have a budget? If you've never booked an entertainer before, how would you know what the cost will be. Message a few Kids Entertainers, and get like for like quotes. Don't just send an email saying "How much are you"?. Give as much information about your event as possible, ie: Location (town/village), event details, approx date.
  • Stick with quality over quantity. Although your Party might be 3 hours, every audience has an attention limit, hence the reason why most kids TV shows are 15/20 minutes long.
  • Ask your Entertainer, WHY you should book him/her. It's never just a kids party, it's a big deal, most certainly to all attending.
  • Ask about the material and Show Packages the entertainer offers.Have you seen the Show Borchure on this website?
  • Here is a big one, WHY should you book a lone-performer against a party entertainment company? Most, if not all Pro-performers are one person performers, meaning they should have their own social media and you can actually ring their phone and talk to them. Picking up the phone and chatting to your entertainer is paramount, always! Remember an entertainer should be personable.
  • How about "The Party entertainment companies"? Again, it's always a good idea to ask to speak to the entertainer/party starter that the party company are assigning to your event. Most Party Companies will pay their party entertainers directly, however it won't be the fee you have paid in total? EXAMPLE: You have paid £300.00 to a Party company who promise to send you one of their Party Starters/Entertainers, however there is a good chance that the party starter/entertainer will only be paid a fraction of that £300.00 fee. This could potentially mean you are short changed for Quality. There are benefits though, a Party company may have "over 500 entertainers", so if the first 1 or 2 let you down at least you know 2 hours later you may get someone, but why was that someone not booked in the first place? You could even join the Companies award winning entertainment team, no experience necessary as full training is provided!

So much choice, but a party is never a rehearsal, do plenty of research and a Private Party will create very special moments.
