The "UK Children's Entertainer of the Year 2022"

 

PJ the Showman was back hosting and Presenting the Competition at the Longbridge Sports & Social Club in Birmingham, England.

The competition which is organised by one of the UK's well known Children's magic dealers/suppliers, Albion Magic which is also based in the West Midlands. The Competition it's self is the finale of Kidology, the Original Mid-Week Children's Entertainers convention.

The Competition is well regarded within the light entertainment industry with a live audience of hyped up Children aged 5 -7 years, 6 entries compete "LIVE" on stage and Judged by Former BBC Presenter Gordon Astley, International Illusionist Danny Hunt , Ron Popple one of England's top Children's Entertainers (Ronnie Crackers) & Equity Trade Union's Regional Organiser Ian Bayes.

Each act has a maximum 15 minutes to perform infront of an audience consisting of Children, fellow Entertainers, Teachers & the general public.

This Year's winner is Joe Banana (pictured below with PJ) who performed a variety of his skills to get the audience rocking, well done Joe!

As a booker you would expect your professional entertainer to have the following:
  • Full Public Liability
  • DBS Check (you can see upon request, but cannot touch)
  • Potable Appliance Test on electrical equipment
