Inflated truth!

Now here's an interesting debate!

Is Balloon Modelling entertaining? Well I guess this could be asked of Face Painting too, but if you have over 25 excited Kids at a party and they all queue for 30 minutes for a Balloon shape, isn't it asking for boredom to slip in?

We British love forming a line, we even queue for a Big Mac & Fries, but this is a party and surely the audience want to be entertained, right? So here are a few reasons why Ballooning doesn't quite land as well as entertainment:

ATTENTION SPAN

Many Kids, especially younger ones - lose interest quickly, so if they can't get there prized Balloon within minutes, the process can feel slow and disruption can occur.

THE FEAR OF POPPING

Some Children can get quite anxious at parties, the whole enviroment can for some feel a little overwhelming, so those random pops can overide the fun. Keep balloons for decorations instead and let your Entertainer, entertain.

A PASSIVE EXPERIENCE

Balloon twisting is very much one-way traffic. The person making them probably loves twisting latex, but once a Child has their balloon it's pretty much over. Comapre that to an entertainer with content ie: Tricks, non-elimination games, Comedy routines and content that everyone can enjoy - together.

That said, ballooning can be great fun if a child get's to win a pre-made sculpture of their favourite animal or disney character.
